Benefits
Investing in the National Multi Crop Planter offers significant advantages for modern farming operations, leading to higher efficiency and better returns.
- Boosted Productivity: By handling seed planting in unprepared fields, the planter drastically cuts down on the need for extensive tilling and field preparation, reducing overall operation time.
- Optimal Yield Potential: The precise plant-to-plant spacing and adjustable row-to-row spacing ensure every seed has the necessary space and resources to thrive, maximizing crop yield.
- Cost-Effective Operation: The ability to handle multiple seed types (Maize, Cotton, Sunflower, Grams, etc.) means one machine serves many purposes, reducing the need for purchasing and maintaining specialized equipment.
- Uniform Fertilization: The built-in Agitator & Sliding Orifice Type fertilizer metering ensures even distribution of nutrients directly to the seedbed, promoting healthy and vigorous plant growth from day one.
- Reliable Seed Placement: The advanced Rotating Disc Seed Metering mechanism prevents skips and doubles, ensuring accurate seed population and minimizing waste.
- Versatility and Scalability: With models ranging from 3 to 6 rows and compatibility with a wide range of tractor horsepower (30 H.P. - 65 H.P.), this machine is easily adaptable to small, medium, and large-scale farming needs.
Applications
Preparation and Setup
- Tractor Attachment: Securely attach the planter to the appropriate tractor based on the model's minimum H.P. requirement (ranging from 30 H.P. to 65 H.P.).
- Seed Selection: Select the correct Rotating Disc based on the type and size of the seed being planted (e.g., Maize, Peas, Cotton).
- Spacing Adjustment: Use the adjustable mechanism to set the Row to Row Spacing (Standard is 24" Max) and adjust the plant-to-plant spacing as needed for the specific crop and agronomic requirements.
- Fertilizer Loading: Load the desired fertilizer into the hopper. Ensure the Agitator & Sliding Orifice Type metering system is calibrated for the required application rate.
Field Operation
- Field Condition: The planter is optimized for use in unprepared, pre-harvested fields, eliminating the need for extensive primary tillage.
- Maintaining Speed: Operate the tractor at a consistent and appropriate speed to ensure the Seed Metering (Inclined Plate) mechanism functions accurately and maintains uniform plant spacing.
- Monitoring: Regularly check the seed and fertilizer hoppers to ensure adequate supply, and inspect the rotating discs for smooth operation and accurate placement.
